GREETINGS FROM ODESSA

DEAR PARTNERS AND FRIENDS!!!

My meetings with Ron Winkler continue

and I’m really appreciative that he opens his heart to me,

helps me to grow spiritually and be more mature

in different areas of my life.

Now my friends are busy with university, but God is faithful

and always arranges times for us to meet.

My friend Damir from Russia said he would like to spend

his whole vacation in Ukraine,

if God provides we will meet often,

he really needs this time and last time he said to me:

“I appreciate this fellowship, because during this time

we can pray for each other

and support one another in difficult situations!”

This month, my friend and dear brother, Elijah came to Odessa.

It was the first time that somebody from my Donetsk church

came to encourage and spend time with me.

He stayed 5 days and got to see closely my missionary life.

It was special time. We visited many churches, youth meetings,

fellowshipped with friends and saw beautiful places in Odessa!

Prayer meetings of Light Christian Fellowship Church

– it is interesting time, when you see unity of different people,

who trust in God with all their heart

and always support each other.

Guys Bible study is going well, because God leads us

and works very carefully in our hearts

through His powerful Word!

Each time our group meets, different guys share things,

and it is great,

because we can look and study Bible from different view points.

On the16th of May my friend Alex and I visited “New Life”

missionary baptist church in the center of Odessa.

The purpose being to build new relationships and

to meet and talk with their pastor

about needs on the missionary field IN and OUT of Odessa.

Pastor Nikolay was really nice to us and invited us back again.

I was privileged to preach on

the “Portrait of truly follower of Christ”

and sang 3 songs for God’s glory!

Praise God for wonderful time with His family!

Please pray for:

-Meetings with Ron Winkler as well as Damir’s spiritual growth;

-Prayer meetings and guys Bible study;

-“New Life” church and especially for men,

because church needs spiritually mature helpers and leaders;

-Next trip to church out of Odessa is May 22^nd and 23rd;

-Raising support for trip to the Poland in July

to help with summer camps.

BE STRONG AND FAITHFUL in all things!!!

Meetings with guys – it is special time,

when God touch men’s hearts and does wonderful things!

When I just got back to Odessa,

God gave me an opportunity

to have meeting with my friend from Kiev,

I didn’t see him for 18 months.

Before I left he stopped me and sad:

“I always can trust you and

share about worries in my life and ministry,

be strong and faithful in all things,

which God gave and will!”

Also after last meeting with Nick he sad:

“I understand, that with God, we always have exit

from any situation!”

Now there are really hard times in Ukraine,

and people seek for somebody,

who would listen, understand, encourage and give advice.

I praise God we can help people

by His wisdom and power!

Usually on Wednesday our church has prayer meeting.

It is a great time with God and your spiritual family!

We pray for our country, church, missionaries

and personal needs.

On Friday we have Bible study for guys.

Now we go through Acts.

It is interesting time, when we can sharing

about our understanding Scripture

and how we can apply it in life!

On last Sunday my friend Gleb brought his friend Denis.

We invited him to our church again and for a picnic!

Please pray that we will continue

building relationship with him.

It was great message from God and good encouragement!

our guitar player, he went to the sea for 4 months!

The 2nd day of May was a great one!

It is our Mayovka holiday (Ukrainian Labor Day )

God gave me a lot of opportunities

to serve my spiritual family!

First: I was privileged to lead in the Lord’s Supper (Communion)

Second: our small music team got to do

a special song at the end of the service!

(Gleb-drums,Valik – bass,Yulia-vocal,

Kostya-vocal & guitar)

We wanted to encourage our church family

with the song "Our Redeemer lives"!

Third: our picnic after church was great!

We are played games, had great fellowship,

were building relationships with new people.

During this time God also gave me an opportunity

to share my testimony with an unbeliever named Tanya.

Please pray for:

-Guys meetings;

-Prayer and Bible study meetings;

-Kirill’s time in sea near the Arab Emirates;

-Father's health and his next surgery on 5 of May;

- God will continue to use me according to His will;

-Raising support for trip to the Poland

and help with summer camps.
