FAMILY CAMP IN BIELSKO BIALA (POLAND)

The Family Camp in Bielsko Biala was like a discipleship camp for believers

from Second Baptist church in Krakow

10 families, nice schedule, mountains and God’s presence.

Every morning before breakfast we would pray together.

During the week each morning and evening we had a nice time of worship

and messages about “God’s creation”, “Problem of evil in the world”

and other interesting themes for discussions.

During the camp we also did a lot of hiking

It was interesting, unusual, awesome and so very beautiful.

In the mountains we had special times with each other,

we shared thoughts about God’s creation and His awesomeness!

A few friends shared with me and said:

“When you feel God’s presence in the mountains

your heart and mind open to His word!”

Each evening was special because in the camp we had many international guests.

We had Polish, Brazilian, Filipino and Ukrainian evenings.

Each group presented his country, culture, slide show, video and songs.

On the19th of August I had my 26 Birthday

and on that same day I was privileged to present Ukraine.

It was 2 hours of good video about different cities,

pictures, funny stories, as well as Russian and Ukrainian songs!

Please pray for:

Ministry with gypsy families in Donetsk;

Safety trip to back home in the end of September;

FAMILY CAMP IN OLSZTYN

Thank you so much dear friends, for your prayers and support!

We had a really good family camp in Olsztyn!

It is a special time when you build relationships with people,

who you didn’t know before, but try understand in Polish,

build cross culture bridges and serve them!

Each day we had morning meetings together, where we worshiped God.

Peter Vasek showed us a lot of examples of physical laws

which we could apply to our bible studies and lives during the camp!

After lunch usually we had free time which you could use for a little walk,

play games with water balloons, learn Jewish dance or kayak (boat).

Before supper we practiced our English in conversation groups!

After this each day usually we had interesting games, talent show,

quest, the movie – Fireproof and evening program.

Each evening during the evening program we heard God’s Word

and testimonies of our friends from the States and Poland.

One special evening we had bonfire with Polish kolbasa (sausage),

American marshmallows, chocolate, cookies and tea!

It was a wonderful time when we sang together around the fire

and shared what we liked in the camp.

In the end I was privileged to play a few Russian and Ukrainian songs!

Again, it is a great privilege to build relationships with people!

Interesting enough that on the family camp you aren’t building relationships

to only one person, but to entire families!

On this camp I met many families, which were thankful for the good fellowship,

all the new friends and the special time when we played and sang together to our Lord!

One day campers went to Olsztyn’s planetarium and the old town!

Usually in the end of a camp people are more open than in the beginning!

So, it was a good time together when we spent the time in fellowship, walking

and sharing about what passages from God’s Word touched our hearts!

PLEASE PRAY FOR:

-Family camp in Bielsko-Biala from 16-21 of August;

-New opportunities and possibilities for ministry;

-Health, strength and wisdom for God’s glory!

Greetings Dear Brothers and Sisters!

Let me tell you about my time spent

in Radom (Poland) recently!

The evening I arrived Bob and Vera Hageman were at the train station to meet me

and bring me to their home. Just 20 minutes later we had

a nice meeting with a young family from Warsaw!

That Friday I was in a Bible study of English speaking Poles, both believers and

non-believers where we had a great time discovering truths from God's word together!

On Sunday I had the privilege to be a part of the worship team.

It was a great and powerful time of praising our Lord together!

We also heard Pastor Titus share from God's word and

again I was privileged to give my testimony near the end of the service.

Praise God for a great morning of worship and praise in God's house!

That evening I got to be a part of ministry to alcoholics.

There were about 50 people there, we served tea, coffee and sandwiches,

which the ministry team had prepared earlier that afternoon.

We had opportunity to talk with them and I also had a chance

to sing some songs in Russian and Ukrainian, they seemed to really enjoy this!

We also invited them to come on Tuesday night to one other program.

During the week I also met with the Youth Pastor and his family,

while also visiting Steve Snyder's home and meeting his family as well,

sharing in fellowship with both these families.

On Tuesday we again met for ministry to Alcoholics, this night about 25 came

and enjoyed some hot soup, coffee and chips. Pastor also shared a message

from God's word. After they asked me and one other fellow musician (Marek)

to play songs for them and so we did, doing songs in Polish, Russian and Ukrainian.

I felt truly blessed to serve with these wonderful friends,

while serving the people of Poland as well.

Please pray for:

-That the ministry in Radom would grow and touch people’s hearts;

-Safe trip to Jelenia Gora from Radom with Hageman’s;

-Family camp in Jelenia Gora, Karpacz from 24-31 of July;

-Raising support for family camp in Olsztyn from 31 of July

MISSION TRIP TO POLAND (krakow)

Greetings from Poland, my dear friends and partners!

I’m happy that I can share with you about all the blessings for God’s glory!

Ben, Burgi, their daughter Elisa Oehler-Todradze, and of course grandson Damian

welcomed me in their home in Krakow last Saturday!

That was an interesting meeting – a mix of very different cultures!

Ukrainian, German, Georgian and Polish!

This Sunday I was in the Second Baptist church of Krakow

sharing a short testimony about God’s work in my life.

I could encourage the brothers and sisters

to really be a part of God’s Kingdom, not just to try to escape from God’s anger,

but to participate in His great plan!

After the Sunday service I got invited for picnic by two pastors and their families!

It was a great time to get introduced to Polish culture and kitchen!

During the last four days I have been staying in the church

of the First Baptist Congregation,

The former head-quarter of the German SS in Krakow!

That’s an interesting house with more than 100 years of history.

Not far from there is the Museum of Krakow

that documents all the bad things that happened here during the time

of occupation by Germans and later Russians.

In Krakow you can find many historical places of memory.

Typical street in the center of Krakow with horses and citizens!

And here an interesting place in the middle of town,

looks like a bus stop where you can sit, listen to classical music,

get some rest like this old man and recharge the battery of your soul!

Please pray for:

-Outreach in street ministry with an American team in Radom;

-Family camp from July 24 in Gorzow-Wielkopolski;

-Mission trip to Italy-Milan in the beginning of August;

-God’s wisdom and strength in ministry!

GREETINGS WITH LOVE AND BLESSINGS FROM ODESSA,

Dear friends and partners in ministry!!!

Praise God that I can share with you all our blessings and happiness in ministry!

God has been giving me opportunities to serve

while building new relationships with churches in Odessa.

In the past updates I shared about “New Life Baptist Church"

in the downtown area that invited Ben Oehler to lead some seminars about

“How to reach unbelievers” and “Where should the Church's focus be?”.

I was privileged to translate for Ben and help with organizing the meetings.

Our friends invited us back again and I was thankful

that I can apply all this wisdom for ministry!

Praise God, that He uses me for the glory of His Kingdom!

Also God gave me an opportunity to visit the Living Hope Church,

where I saw many old friends, praised God in music during the sharing time,

which I hope encouraged them in their growth and their service to the Lord.

Church life is going well and is being blessed by God!

This month we had many guests and friends, who visited us.

Hannes Pelser my friend from South Africa visited us with his daughter Doreen.

He was shared with us about his life and how God healed him from cancer!

It was powerful testimony, and reminded us how we should rest in God’s promises.

On occasion our band, consisting of, Valik (bass), Gleb (drums) and Kostya (vocal&guitar)

is praising God through worship songs!

We would like to give our God all praise and glory through worship!

Ron Winkler recently preached a sermon about “How to be an encourager”.

Also, this past month we had guests at our prayer meeting on Wednesday.

They were Alex Kreshenko from Chrisitian Medical Association

and his friend Daniel from Bulgaria.

My accountability meetings with Ron Winkler continue.

It is always special and interesting time, when God blesses my heart!

After one meeting with Ron, I visited our friend and partner in ministry Brad Carlson.

We talked a little bit about his plans and desires for ministry in the coming year.

This meeting with Brad also encouraged my heart!

PLEASE PRAY FOR:

-Raising support for my ministry trip to Poland to help with summer camps;

- Strength and God’s wisdom in processing visa documents;

-Preparation time and last meetings with unbelieving friends;

-God’s provision and His hand in all ministry for His Glory!
